Under a percentage-based ambulance billing agreement, our billing fee is calculated from payments received on the claims assigned to us. If a claim doesn’t pay, there’s no percentage-based billing fee on that claim.
Separately requested eligibility checks, authorization support, enrollment, training, consulting, and other add-on services have their own agreed fees. Your rate, covered claims, and included services are set out before work begins.

MEET YOUR BILLING PARTNER
I’ve worked in independent ambulance billing since 2007. As a former ambulance company co-owner, I understand the work behind the claim and the importance of steady cash flow.
EMT-Basic background. I held Texas EMT-Basic certification from 2005 to 2024—more than 18 years. My EMT background helps me understand the patient care behind an ambulance transport and what to look for when reviewing documentation and medical necessity.
Crew training experience. I’ve traveled to ambulance companies to provide on-site training for EMT crews in documentation and effective PCR writing. I now offer that practical guidance remotely, along with consulting to help ambulance companies improve documentation and billing workflows.
NEMT leadership. Separately, I have more than 13 years of leadership experience in non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT). That operations experience informs how I approach facility relationships, transportation coordination, and the day-to-day demands of running a transport organization.
My Medicare billing experience includes Novitas and WPS, along with historical experience with TrailBlazer. Through Medical Billing Services LLC, I welcome nationwide inquiries and review each provider’s state, payer mix, and requested services before accepting an engagement.
